Building Dreams

Amazing Mountains Seed

Kickoff of a viewer-driven Let’s Play in Minecraft Bedrock! I showcase three epic mountain seeds (666, 792444040, –2088013766) and pitch a ninja-temple build with bridges and villages in the cliffs. Vote in the poll and help decide what we build next.

I tested which biomes give the most ores in Minecraft Bedrock using command blocks to expose ore in five 16×16 chunks per biome (seed: 6202). Comparing the village biomes, the desert came out on top for diamonds, iron, and lapis, while taiga/swamp were strongest for redstone and taiga led in coal. Watch the breakdown and results.

Break or Decay Tree Leaves

I test which trees drop the most saplings, sticks, and apples in Minecraft Bedrock using command blocks and five-run averages. Results compare big/small oak, birch, spruce (1×1 & 2×2), dark oak, acacia, and jungle (1×1 & 2×2)—plus decay vs. punching vs. Fortune. Spoiler: big oak & 2×2 spruce are monsters; dark oak lags; Fortune boosts drops.

Trusting the Journey: Courage Over Comfort

A short visual story about faith in motion — stepping out of comfort zones, embracing risk, and trusting God’s plan even when the path is uncertain. Each step forward becomes an act of courage, a moment of growth, and a reminder that true faith moves.

In this storytelling project, I interview Colorado Mesa University student Jordan Browning, a sophomore majoring in Mass Communication. She shares her early passion for video creation, her journey through multiple universities, and how she rediscovered her love for storytelling and sports broadcasting. This short documentary highlights the challenges and growth that come with finding your true path — both as a student and as a creator.

Empowering First-Gen Mavericks: Your Support, Their Success

Created for Colorado Mesa University’s Day of Giving 2025, this video highlights the courage and resilience of first-generation Mavericks and the impact of community support through the First-Gen Plus Student Support Center. Together, we can help every first-gen student find their path — and their potential.

You Break It: Restoring Balance in Fatherhood

In this persuasive video created for my Argumentation class at Colorado Mesa University, I explore the growing issue of fatherlessness in America and how current legal systems contribute to it. Drawing from research, data, and personal experience, I argue for equal shared parenting laws as a necessary reform to restore stability, love, and balance in families — because children don’t just need a parent, they need both.

Empowering First-Gen Mavericks: Your Support, Their Success

In this storytelling project, I interview Leonela, a first-generation senior at Colorado Mesa University majoring in Business Administration and Marketing. Leonela shares her journey of founding the Women in Business Club, launching her own branding company, and redefining what it means to lead as a first-gen student. Her story is one of resilience, identity, and using creativity to uplift her community.
